Miller Library staff have been preparing for the sale for a year now, collecting and sorting gently used books on gardening, horticulture, botany and landscape design. Come look through tables of tempting volumes, meet and greet fellow gardening bibliophiles, enjoy (and purchase) original art, prints and cards from the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Society of Botanical Artists, and support the gardening library we're so lucky to have in our city.
Friday evening is the preview party from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with wine, appetizer buffet, a silent auction of choice books and plants, and of course the best selection of books. Tickets to the party are $20.00 each and directly fund the Miller Library's book budget. To purchase tickets to the preview party, call the library at 206-543-0415. Latest word is that the party is not yet sold out...
On Saturday, April 2, the Book Sale will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., free admission. Books are in good condition and priced to sell.
The Miller Library is located at the Center for Urban Horticulture, 3501 NE 41st Street, Seattle.
